STREETRUNNER Signs French Producer Tarik Azzouz

No Comments Interview

Industry veteran STREETRUNNER, recently signed French producer Tarik Azzouz to Run The Streets. The pair met through an online music submission site called Blazetrak, which for a fee allows up and coming artists and producers to get their music reviewed by taste makers in the business. After STREETRUNNER expressed interest in the up and coming producer, Tarik took a flight to Miami immediately following his graduation from college. The rest as they say is history as they began to build an arsenal of production. With Tarik under his wing, STREETRUNNER secured placements for his protégé’ with Lil Wayne, Rick Ross, The Game, John Legend, French Montana, DJ Khaled, Royce Da 5’9 and most recently on Meek Mill’s DC4. STREETRUNNER, then signed Tarik to his label Run The Streets and secured him a production deal with Universal Music in France. Tarik has recently said in an interview with Blazetrak, the site that helped him spark his career that the key to success is “WORK AND NETWORK! You have to work really hard every single day! I’ve missed a lot of parties, going out with friends, that type of stuff, just being behind my computer making new music. But that’s the only way to do it.” This is a prime example of how social media and networking facilitated a music power move across two continents.
